Unlike other watch winders that rotate watches in order to wind them, the affordable EVOLUTION watch winder from RAPPORT "swings" the watch instead.

 

This also makes the EVO-WATCHWINDER ideal for all kinetic-type watches.

 

The internal microprocessor activates the drive motor, causing the watch to swing back and forth for several oscillations just as it would if it were being worn on the wrist.

 

The watch winder has 3 levels of operation:

 

1) Quick Charge: The winder operates on a 24 hour cycle, the watch holder swings for one hour continuously and then rests for 23 hours,

 

2) Intermittent Wind: This mode is recommended for watch storage. The winder operates in 15 minute cxycles, winding for 1 minute and then resting for 14 minutes, with the exception of the first cycle which winds for 5 minutes to build up a store of power,

 

3) Intermittent Wind Heavy: This mode is recommended for storage of heavier, more complicated watches.The winder operates in 15 minute cxycles, winding for 2 minutes and then resting for 13 minutes, with the exception of the first cycle which winds for 5 minutes to build up a store of power.

 

The watch winder comes with a 230V AC adapter, or works with 4 LR14 batteries (not incl.).
